When we want to feel special, we need only to return to downtown’s favorite gathering spot for refined food and drink. Our latest visit found us at at the posh bar, where service is every bit as mindful as in the sublime dining room; sometimes it’s fun to people-watch and also to trade tasting notes with neighboring patrons on the sparkling rosé from Spain or the enormous chilled prawns with a tarragon-teased remoulade (the two together made a stunning opener for the evening)
