Born and raised in Lubbock, TX Anne began working for her family’s restaurant, The Dollhouse Café, when she was a teenager. She was hired as a cashier, but as at most small restaurants, she did a little bit of everything. She loved getting to know the “regular” patrons, the friendly atmosphere and the fast pace of the business. She attended Sul Ross State University, studying Music and Theater, where a highlight was playing the role of “Laurie” for 9 weeks in “Oklahoma” at Alpine’s outdoor theater. During college Anne also worked at the original Reata restaurant in Alpine, TX. She moved to Fort Worth in 1999 and became a part of the Del Frisco’s team then led by Adam Jones. Anne is inspired by the restaurant industry because she loves to see people celebrate, whether it is a special occasion or just the enjoyment of everyday life.
